Fulton man dies after gas powered bicycle collides with van, police say

Fulton, N.Y. — A Fulton man died after his gas-powered bicycle went through a red light and collided with a van in Fulton, police said Tuesday.
Police responded at about 9:30 a.m. Friday to Route 481 and Route 3, where they found that a man riding a gas-powered bicycle had hit a delivery van, said Sgt. Lucas Hollenbeck, a spokesperson for the Fulton Police.
Scott M. Collins, 60, appeared to have a leg and head injury but when he arrived at the hospital it was determined his injuries were worse, he said.
